An exhibition at the Art Gallery of Regina running from May 20 to July 31, 2027, featuring work by Heather Cline and Eric Powell. Heather Cline's Viewfinder project, created in partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, explores personal and collective connections to stories and experiences written on the land, including those of settlement and agriculture, through painting, video, and sound. Eric Powell's Listener's Guide to the Saskatchewan Grid Road Map is presented as a gallery listening station offering an immersive sonic journey through Southern Saskatchewan's grid roads, blending field recordings with traditional and unconventional instruments including trombone, glockenspiel, organ, hurdy-gurdy, and hand-cranked siren. Together these works present a complex and multisensory experience of the Saskatchewan landscape.
