Initiated in 2002 and driven by the Mayor's Office, I ❤️ Regina is based on the successful I ❤️ New York campaign and was intended to shift residents’ attitudes towards our community and improve our city’s image. In its 24 years, I ❤️ Regina has made great strides in improving our image locally, across the country, and even across the globe! Did you know Regina now has fans as far away as Australia & Japan and has even been discussed in the media by Regina-born stars like comedy Icon Leslie Neilsen, Canadian Music Hall of Famer Colin James, Emmy Award Winner Tatiana Maslany, and other celebrities like hosts Jimmy Fallon & Dave Letterman, and Oscar & Golden Globe Winner Charlize Theron? After shooting her film Sleepwalking in Regina, the actress and producer said in one interview, "It's a great location. I would go back there. Just not in the winter. [laughs] But I would go back there to shoot, because it was beautiful." This year’s event includes a Run & Walk, a free BBQ, treats & giveaways, live entertainment, Regina exhibitors, children’s activities, and much more!
