A one-night-only collaboration featuring JUNO and Gemini Award-winning guitarist Jack Semple performing with the Regina Jazz Orchestra. He returned to Regina to pursue a solo career and has released ten albums. In 1992, Semple won the MuchMusic 'Guitar Wars' contest and came to national prominence. He was nominated for Gemini Awards in 1999 and 2000 for his work on the television series Incredible Story Studio, and won a Juno Award in 1991 for best roots recording. He has also won two Western Canadian Music Awards. Jack writes and performs 'Modern Blues', described as Stevie Ray Vaughn meets James Brown meets Robben Ford. The performance features Gordon Lightfoot covers, The Lincolns material, a BB King tribute, and Jack's own originals. Seating is not assigned.
